Two Remote Controls in one House

Hi,

I have two SV-360 receivers, two diseq switches and seperate cables running to different receivers.

It appears as if when the channels are changed upstairs, the TV downstairs channels change as well.

Does this make sense????

How can I fix this??

if they are surposed to change on one only you should check all your connections to be sure they are correct.

Use the tv remote in one area and program it for the receiver. All SV remotes for 360 will work on all receivers

My TV remote will not work the receiver.......

Can I buy a no name brand sat remote and program it to work the SV???

I bought a second receiver so that I can watch TV in two places. I don't want to have to watch the same channels on both TV's.

Can the SV remotes not be programmed to work a specific receiver??

According to the manuel each receiver has a code that you should program the remote to. They are usually programmed(default) when yo get them. Follow instructions in the manuel and reprogram each remote

Where in the manual do are these instructions to program the remote to the receiver???? I can't seem to find it. I only see how to program the remote to the TV, DVD etc..

I still can't find anything about receiver codes and programming the remote.

I have searched this site and the internet for hours........

Anyone have any ideas???
