SV 360P reboots itself?
This has been going on for awhile and not sure if this is normal? About every 5th time I go into any of my menu settings and make changes if neccessary, then I hit the "exit" button my receiver reboots itself. Has anyone else ever experienced this before?

Re: SV 360P reboots itself?
I posted about this quite a while ago and got no response.
It went away for a bit after i fixed my wiring and re-pointed my dish... maybe 3 months i didn't have any issues, but now is back with the Ihub....
It is my feeling that when there is any instability connected to the box IE: bad switch, hardly functioning Ihub, bad LNB the box doesn't handle it well and these forced hard reboots happen...

Re: SV 360P reboots itself?
I have had the same issue for quite some time. I don't have a answer for you, but I figuerd it was normal. It's been going on for about 6 months and I figuerd since we were up the whole time I didn't wan't to mess with a good thing! I've moved both dishes and still have the problem, but think you might have something with the lnbs Ive been seeing weird fluxuations in my pro lnb could be going bad I'll change it out and let you know if it has helped with the issue.

I'd say you are right tb, about every 5th time i change my IP settings to get the picture back, box reboots. sucks because all epg info goes away when that happens.

I don't think the boxes are the issue, it's on the server end. the small amount of info sent thru a serial port could be processed by a nice calculator. If anything it's possible that a serial port is not fast enough to request and receive the data without skipping in the picture. But a key is not that much data from what i understand.

My dish is not grounded...
I wanted to add that my local settings (city and state) are reset when the box reboots itself.
