You also had 82 so still needed to load 1.4. Mine detected 82 right away and the WIZ fields populated. I thought it was a CONNECTION issue that my WIZ not connecting with IHub bc RT corner said NOT Connected. Satmaxx said disregard that mssg.
But so far, cannot upload even after hard boot. My SV said main software 245 and USB 1 and loader 1.
Ideas guys?

Thanks.
1. I uploaded 245 at least three times!!!
2. I always have WIZ (ver 2.1.0) and this is the tool I have been using trying to upload 1.4 AFTER I loaded 245.
3. I turned off firewall. Hard boot SV after uploading 245.
The problem is I cannot use WIZ to upload 1.4. It kept saying Process Fails.
Thanks for any help.

That's a very good idea. I tried that BUT do i leave the IHub connected to the SV with its serial side. If yes let IHub connected to SV, do I turn on the SV?
The first time I tried, still said Fail. Will try more.
Has anyone else uploaded directly to IHub via cable connected to the laptop, NOT router?

Re: IHub Connection
You CANNOT flash a virgin Ihub!
If you do then you will get the dreaded v82 issue that is more time consuming than doing it right the first time.
To flash a virgin Ihub:
You need to connect the Ihub to the reciever
go into IP Config screen
Change Static to DHCP and then press ok on apply
You will now have a DHCP address in the correct range
The default static IP on the Ihub is 192.168.11.X
The 11 is out of most peoples ranges and when you try to flash it
You will corrupt your Ihub
If you have alread corrupted your Ihub
meaning when you turn it on and it doesn't recognize it (no Ip config under installation)
Then you need to fix it using this:
Open up the Wiznet flash config tool
note your Ihub's information
local ip: 192.168.11.2
Gateway: 192.168.11.1
these values will only work with a network that are 192.168.11.X
Since these values don't match my network I changed it to settings that match my network
Local Ip: 192.168.1.102
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
If you don't know your range or gateway then hit the start menu on the bottom of windows
find the run tab
type in cmd.exe
a black DOS window will open
now type in ipconfig
use the information in the window to change the value in your Ihub
after you are done then left click on the setting button on the bottom of the Wiznet config tool
It will tell you processing and then you can research and see that indeed the IP address has been changed
Note the Version is still at 82.0
Now click on the upload tab again on the bottom of the Wiznet config tool window
Locate the file 1.4 and press "open" to upload the file
After the processing stus window you will see "complete uploading"
Now you can do a search and see if the Version of your Ihub is now correct
It should read Version 1.4

Re: IHub Connection
router brand can be a factor; switched from linksys WRT54G to netopia gateway and now wiz/hub values will not populate unless the DIRECT IP SEARCH option is used; know it's a pain to reconfigure, but would reset the router to factory defaults and try to connect and load; could be something flaky with router's directory tables;

Everyone just needs to finds the IP of the IHub and type that in the local IP field. Don't rely that info from being populated automatically....
Also, as u said, ignore the stupid RT corner keep saying NOT Connected.
Also, ignore LT corner keep saying version 82.
Think someone should post this as a sticky. I am confident what we went through should cover many if not all the IHub connection issues.

Re: IHub Connection
Don't worry about server ip if you use DNS=YES (recommended) for your ihub ipconfig.

Re: IHub Connection
From what I've been thru, local IP should be different from gateway IP. Since your gateway ip is 192.168.2.1, I would try local ip = 192.168.2.2 if not already there.
