Turned off firewall but still no connection.
I see top right corner said "NOT CONNECTED."
I use WIZI 2.1.0 for the loader. Top left corner said version "82.0"
It has local IP and right port 1920, right domain name and IP. But not connecting. Thanks.
I have turned off the SV a few times using the back button.

Re: IHub Connection
If you are seeing 82 in the top left corner you have to upload the 1.4 file using the Wiznet tool.

Hey CG,
I know but as I mentioned, the top right corner said NOT CONNECTED. how is that possible that after i clikc search, i see the local IP, version but said NOT CONNECTED.
i tried static or DHCP. Operational mode is Mixed. Server IP is all zero though.
Under Board List on the left panel box, it lists out the MAC or serial # like 00:90:BC:0F:C2:

Re: IHub Connection
ignore the "not connected" in the upper RH corner; that msg relates to the option "Enable Serial Debug Mode" that is not relevent here;
click "Search" at the bottom and if u're connected the fields will populate;
then, click "Upload" to load 1.4 firmware to the hub;
all fields are view only; don't try to change any values from the Wiz;

Thanks Satmaxx.
Yes, I clicked Search and the fields populated. So you said I am actually connected & ignore the "NOt Connected." Thx.
I still could NOT upload ihub_v_1_4 bin file dated 7/10/09. It said "Fail".
My steps are click Upload, select that file,and click Open. Then after a few seconds, it said Fail!
Any ideas? ThX Much

Re: IHub Connection
you got the steps right;
you uncompressed the 1.4 file, right? (common oversight, just checking)

Thanks bro.
Yes, i unzipped its size now is 40kb, compared to compressed one 18kb.
I also have turned off the dumb firewall. turned off the SV several times.
is there anything i need to do on SV beside uploading the 245, which i already did yesterday and again this morning.
Q - the IHub ethernet is plug into the router, NOT my laptop, right? Actually, I tried plug in the IHub ethernet to my laptop or router. Both failed.

Re: IHub Connection
Q - the IHub ethernet is plug into the router, NOT my laptop, right?
A - Correct
After 1.4 uploads:
Check under the INSTALLATION > Dish Setting > IP Config menu to verify settings for:
1- Setting type = DHCP
2- Use DNS = Yes
3- Serial Num = your serial #
And, select and click APPLY to save changes
Then, power the 360P off, first with remote, then rocker switch on back; then power on;
Hub should connect and try 154, 200, or 202, tonite; give it a min or two;

Still cannot upload. Confirmed as there's NO IP Config Menu after Dish Setting.

Re: IHub Connection
Wiznet upload of 1.4 still fails? if so, what's the error msg?
IPCONFIG will show as the last option on the INSTALLATION menu (not under the Dish Setting as stated above)

So IP Config will only show up as an option after 1.4 has been uploaded?

Thanks guy.

Re: IHub Connection
We discussed, but make sure you're selecting the upzipped 1.4 BIN file not the ZIP file.
Correct, the IPCONFIG menu option appears after the 1.4 BIN uploads successfully.
Tomorrow's another day; don't give up.

You sure are good motivator.
Yes, I made sure i selected the unzipped 1.4 BIN file which is 40KB. But still, it said Process Fails.
The Server IP is 0.0.0.0
Could that cause the connection problem? I don't think so bc all other fields are populated.
Satmaxx, thanks for your continuing help.

Have tried that numerous times as I stated (only if it's as simple as claimed). Out of ideas now.
SV has 245, turned off SV many times (with back button) as have stated throughout this post. Using the latest WIZ, and all fields populated automatically once I clicked Search so it's connected.
Satmaxx said ignore the RT corner where it said "NOT CONNECTED."
BUT CANNOT UPLOAD 1.4.
