360 Premier Nightmare
I know it's me doing something but.......can get to IP config on installation page and says: Please wait.....adapter not ready. Try again in 10 sec.
I've been on the IP config page and set EVERYTHING as I was supposed to...go to a channel and : no service or scrambled
I have version 2.45 installed, and am not sure if this is correct ? if not what file is it ?
I do NOT have wiznet yet...not sure where it goes.
I have un-plugged, re- plugged , re-booted, etc
My eyes are square from reading....is there an EASY way ?

Re: 360 Premier Nightmare
- turn receiver off
- unplug ihub
- factory default
- load sys clean file
- load factory file
- load i hub file
- turn receiver off
- plug ihub in
- turn receiver on
- wait up to 5 mins for ihub to connect
- go into menu, IP config should be there
- set to DHCP
- set to DNS yes
- enter serial number
- hit apply
- watch tv
if this fails, set up a static ip address

Re: 360 Premier Nightmare
You need to download the wiznet program and unzipped it. You need this pgm to set up you r box. You also need a router.

Re: 360 Premier Nightmare
Hey brewboy,
the latest file is here: http://www.abadss.com/forum/960-sv-3...-245-beta.html
Sometimes all that needs to be done is turn off with rear switch, unhook cable from ihub for a couple min to allow the router to release the ihub, then power back up....
If that doesnt work, follow those steps but also do the same with router and modem.

Re: 360 Premier Nightmare
He may want it anyways to make sure it's communicating at least. It can also help with his IP config.
When the Ihub 1.8 version comes out, he'll need it for sure.
When did you get the Ihub?? From the looks of it, even though it may be new, it may not have been flashed with 1.4. May depend on where you got it, from whose stock.

you leave the ihub connected to the receiver as it is....leave the receiver on.....run wiznet and upload the 1.4 file.....it might have 1.4 on it already.....it will tell you in the top left corner of the wiznet screen what version is on it

This seems to be the symthom of bad ihub or corrupted hub firmware. So, Wiznet is needed in this case just to verify the hub.

Re: 360 Premier Nightmare
ihub should be connected to the router, not the computer. And your computer should be already connected to the same router. Once ou get that, click Search on Wiznet and tell us what message you get.

Re: 360 Premier Nightmare
Does this make any sense? I bought the I-Hubs at exactly the same time....My 8000 runs through the ethernet cable and into the router, and works as excellent as SV will let it work, so I know the cable is good and makes connection.... Now the tricky question, I un-plug the cable, from the 8000, and plug it in to the 360 P and get the green and orange lights etc, does the 8000 have the router port " reserved "? Do I need to put the cable in to a different port when using the 360 ? Is it possible to put the ethernet cable into the MODEM or does it have to be into a router? I am going to try and figure the wiznet thing out tomorrow .....Believe me, I'll be back...and thanks to all.

as long as the local settings on both ihubs are the same (ip address, gateway etc etc) then both receivers should work in the same port......but why would u want to do this?....why not use a different port??.....you need a router AND a modem.....ihubs and computers plug into the router.....router plugs into modem......

Does not make sense. If ihub works on SV 8000, it should work on 360, as long as settings in ipconfig have not changed. Before you do the wiznet, try open up the ipconfig in the 360, make sure you have the following settings:
- Setting Type: DHCP
- DNS=YES
- Domain Name: WWW.SVFTAIKS.COM
- DNS Port: 1920
- Correct ihub serial #
Hit Apply, and let it sit on chan 200 for a few minutes. It should work.
