As of right now, there are a lot of you who are afraid that once charlie implemented full N3, there will be no more TV to watch. Then there are some ppl who can;t wait for N3 to be fully implemented, because they know that will give coders alot of pressure to find a solution, those ppl are probably BEV users and have been black for 6 months. Now the question is: is there going to be a fix? To tell you ppl the truth, i think there will be a fix, however, maybe not for BEV/DN. The sources that i gathered from dealers in Detroit is that they have a full cardless solution for Dave and will be releasing it before DN go to N3. The ****tiest part is that it is exclusive to a particular receiver and you have to buy a certain attachment to fully hack the vguard to watch ppv. BEV and Dn users using IKS will continue to be up (not porn and ppv), therefore ppl with nfusion should not have any problems. From the same resources, N3 is not hackable (neither was N2), but i bet someone from the inside will evenutally sell the algorithm to an outsider and we will be up fully once again with BEV, DN, and DTV. 2009 will be great, so no need to panic.

well if this is true,everyone who buys this "exclusive receiver" and,or,the "certain attachment" can prepare to be fined.
this is nothing anyone would want to purchase.not even with cash at a sat shop imho.
that road has already been traveled.it ended with EVERYONE getting heat.
unlike fta stbs that are clearly made for fta reception and NOT exclusive to anything in general such as this.
stay away.stay far away unless you want to end up in court and or paying a hefty fine.
DTV hacking= end users getting in trouble simply because its entirely different than standard fta units.
no one will have anything to do with this one.to many have already been there done that.

No doubt about the fear factor attached when it comes to dave, i for one would rather not dabble there but there is also no doubt if dave becomes public it would be huge.

As always....Testers beware.

It was a sure thing that DTV would be broken again after the letters were sent out and the cards were changed for the last time. So far, no way, not even close. I would say that DTV is pretty solid against hacking. So if anyone thinks breaking N3 will be a sure thing, you may be in for a surprise. There will still be true FTA, anything else is anybody's guess

when i was reading the court docs. from the bust last month in dish nets complaint aginst the coder cant rember who but was posted here was that he had purchased or had 1mil. new cards and had the hack for n3 already and admitted it to the nag. people so if thats true once the cards are hacked it only a matter of time befor a bin file ? it was 33 pgs. long and that part was twords the bottm i just read them this mor i think arbor posted them?the guy from florida

maybe if you said they cant do anything to you if you were in ethiopia i would believe you. but being in canada dont save you from the long arm of the law, with the agreements you have with the us. hell we cant even come there to draft dodge any more nuff said!!!!

Who would accept the risk to sell such a receiver???? And as mentioned by others, who in the right mind would want the risk of purchasing such a device???
