Re: n3 fix claimed
Since before channels started going away, the rumor was that "all" the channels would need to go black before a fix would be revealed, so this rumor is basically nothing new.
As everyone has said from the beginning, patience is the biggest key right now, because it's a day to day wait and see situation.
BTW, good ideas there TC!!

Well, that's not how it works. Running a more complex program mostly means it will run slower than the less complex program, unless the program is much much more complex, then it could cripple the box's ability to handle the code. But, it does not mean machine needs to be as many folds more powerful as program's complexity.

Guess us PC users are at the bottom of the tech scale.

Re: n3 fix claimed
YEAH, IT IS A GOOD RUMOR............but only a rumor. I do not want to dump on the poster, just the rumor. It provides HOPE, not substance only hope. Remember the old Chinese torture, the one where a secret messenger provides hope "soon they will be here to free you" and then an axe man cuts off an arm followed with another secret messenger providing the poor sucker with more hope repeated until all the guy's limbs are chopped off?
Heck, the conjecture surrounding N3 is going to continue for a long time. I maintain that if a solution to the N3 dilemma occurs, it will be because somebody stole Nagra's family jewels and sold them to the high bidder.
