Not true. Most Viewsat models have 32 Mb SD RAM. Except for the cheap ones like ultra lite and lite. I would rather have a faster CPU than more memory any day.

Even the best of coders run into snags when working any fix. I hope no one gets to bent out of shape when no Nag 3 is released. This was my main reason I posted in RUMOR section. I get good news sometimes that is real good, but trying to crack Nag 3 is a challenge to the coders. I know they are doing there best, and I give them all my encouragement, and my patience is with them...

i think people are missing the point ...jc's info was that they are workimg on it ...that should make anyoen happy ...if in sept we have TV does it matter if it came out july 2 or aigust 15th???

Who are these coders that people hear from anyway??? I'm starting to see similar rumors on several sites now. Remember, they're working on a cure for cancer too but unfortunately it may not be here next week.

Well once again the point got lost the RUMOR was that "THEY are working on it" NO ONE knows anything at this moment and all of the wishes and dreams aren't going to change anything.
As I could tell JC told us of something that he heard about and it was from a source who was known to him to be level headed. )sorry if I paraphrase) so I don't know what the issue is, nobody has promised anybody anything yet. and you need to understand that when you read this stuff , don't do the head line thing to get your entire outlook read the story lol.

You might want to do some searching but there is an active project where some folks involved in the decryption business are involved in DNA decoding it's a very long story and not published but I have given you enough info to find the trail head it's a project that was proposed to some of us about a year ago and I think Jvvh may have decided to get involved lol I had not the time.

pornstarwv, there's more money to be made by not curing cancer than there is from curing it. it's cold sad news but true. however there's more money in opening stand alone files than in not opening them. every thing revovles around money.

It's kinda like a cake,, but not really, there are layers of code that folks deal with but rarely does one deal with all aspects(layers) of the code to run a stb , the code that was important in the past resided in a very small part of the SD ram and was the "operating system" 2 meg or less. Many folks are involved in the process of trying to understand a lot of this but as always the current system is embedded in plastic lol, It will make for endless BS on the forums for quite some time but I think GREED will Prevail and we will get sat TV cheaper then CHUCK will give it to us ROFLMFAO

I hope yall don't think I was saying something negative. I am always glad to hear rumors, especially from people with some clout. If we don't have hope, what do we have? I was just saying, working on it and getting it out to us are two different things. The only difficult thing about rumors for me is they make it hard for me to make up my mind. I have two SV 4000s right now and I'm thinking of upgrading to the 360s and ihubs. But I like my 4000s and if there's still a chance for them, I'd like to hold off on the hubs

Most of the Uni Processors like the old reliable STi5518 -> actually the 5500 series on up have the capacity to handle what is going on ! it is not a matter of memory or processor power as far as we are concerned, YES some will Scream that more is required and that may be true lol consider the old ancient ariza 7oo's had 4 meg just like the pan 2700 and we never came remotely close to using the memory. It's not a matter of anything but figuring out a code and that will not make any box obsolete because of N3 lol.
it may happen and it may not but DO NOT INVEST in a new box now based on promises.

All my previous posts on this topic emphasize my strong belief there will be no N3 solution other than something similar to and including IKS. The only way I see N3 compromised is through technology theft.
