Re: nFusion losing coders? <Rumor>
that was one of the motivations for this hobby was fights like that one. funny how they can open a channel for a special event one day, but not full time? i hope you are right (at least for nfusion)
glad to hear it was confirmed for cnn

Re: nFusion losing coders? <Rumor>
i'm not 100% sure how the whole iks thing works but it is my opinion that these are subbed cards they are working off of and for any special event that they have on they have to order it through the subbed cards and big events like that would be easier to track then regular sub tiers
again this is just my opinion and i don't know how the iks systems work

The 1st 2 options I bet my money they will get it.. Also if anyone is interested or know anyone with Sky it will be on on Ch9(galavision) the sad part is not going to be Live. about 1hr difference.

Re: nFusion losing coders? <Rumor>
For many (except the true FTA'ers) IKS still represents a way better deal than cable.

Re: nFusion losing coders? <Rumor>
In the end, the method of delivery will be far less important than the number of options open.
He who has the most open wins! It is no longer IKS vs IKS but who has what.

I think that there may be trouble in paradise. I believe they are trying to conger up funds to update their servers. Thats why they killed the support for the Nova.

Re: nFusion losing coders? <Rumor>
maybe its just me but for some reason I smell coolsat/nfusion all over the kbox receiver. Maybe NF is slacking to get more to buy the kbox. I have heard so many saying they will be doing so. Kbox is jumping fast to leader in 1ks just like NF did right as coolsat was losing support. Now NF is losing ground in support and another receiver jumps up with the best support and in walks the kbox. Coder comes on forums says hes leaving and makes out like he does so because nfusion are crooked (but were just fine until now when sales are needed) Of course the old nfusion people want to follow said coders and will buy the box they say they are moving to. Good marketing ploy to sell more receivers sounds like to me but I could be wrong I dont own none of them and will never go 1ks will sit back and watch sub until sales drop and they let the real fix come out.
Nice read here on this site

they have a card that is sent the emm to decrypt the control word for a specific channel. Some channels are easy to get (the package is cheap) some channels cost a lot to get for a couple of hours (ppv fights) but all work the same... you need the control word to get video
the card doesn't have to be in the stream infact most of the time the card is in another hemosphere
the card gives the control word which gives you 20 seconds of video
now if the card is hacked (meaning the channel tiers are added by someone that can add them) as opposed to the card is sub'd meaning the tiers are added by cam specific packets (that again are sent to the card in another hemisphere... to keep current by the provider)
the logic is easy the logistics more difficult

I don't like the coolsat connection and I swear if I find out that eric is behind this box that I will run from it as fast as I can
for now until I find out differently the box is performing well

Re: nFusion losing coders? <Rumor>
the problems with the nfusion coding group is that's it's the old coolsat crew, norw group. rumor also has it they are taking care of k-box also. that's why i don't trust any of those receivers.

Re: nFusion losing coders? <Rumor>
I think that there is some truth to this rumor.,.,,there was a post here by a member claiming to be one of the owners of nFusion.,.,he said that people shouldn't be buying nFusion products right now because the company may not even be around in a few weeks and suggested to wait..,.,.,crazy.
