n3 in final stage of testing
i just heard from a reliable source that viewsat has cracked the n3 map and its in the final stages of testing but the only catch that it wont be in a bin file format like it used to be but it will requir a hub and an internet connection .
if it all goes well we should be up and running within a couple of weeks

Re: n3 in final stage of testing
What your saying is iks, if the map is read, you can write a stand alone file.

Re: n3 in final stage of testing
As I understand it (if the European model holds true) there will NOT be stand-alone files for some quite some time (if ever). While Viewsat was first in the N2 era, things have changed. Seems as though IKS is the way to go moving forward as I understand it.

If your using a Hub to make it work, then you are card sharing...not N3 map cracked.

Just remember sonicview also said they would never use an iks system. Look what they are doing now. It's all about money and sales. If VS wants to stay afloat they will have to do something sometime soon.

Agreed... The SV Ihub should be a lead indicator as to where we're headed.

Maybe they are watching and learning from SV. They may want to make sure that they have everything figured out and up and running solid before they release anything, so when they do. All VS users will be up and running without any problems.

Re: n3 in final stage of testing
"they cant beat them".
you better do not say that.
we'll see.
if VS had a crew to be the first with N2 fix.
They should have a o good crew to figure out whats is gonna be unbeatable for a long time.
they know what they're doing.
