Just a thought I would throw out here about Viewsat and all the BULL that is floating around many sites ....

As everone know`s From all the BS post`s from a Cyphris sales person from Viewsat Has said many times Viewsat will never Go Iks . How fast we Forget .And they are working on a FIX = Stand-Alone . Well You will never see a fix ...

Well fact is you will see a New Company out of all of this . Viewsat will no longer Exist by years end ,, in many true FTA Testers Eyes including mine ..

Do we remember this from about a year or so ago ?? All I can say Is the facts are on the wall ..

uuummm.....that was a rumour.....not from viewsat at all.....that receiver does not exsist.....that post was all BS.....

i can photo-CHOP a picture of a sonicview receiver with an ethernet port also.....that doesnt mean it exsists, or is coming out anytime soon.....

i fail to see your logic in this post.....or maybe i should say lack of it.....

no offense but the only BS i can see is your post.....

this post should be deleted, it is not a rumour, it is just you bad mouthing a great company for no good reason......

looking at all your previous posts, you seem to bad mouth viewsat alot.....why all the anger toward a great reputable company?

i agree with you bill of oz that the only bs was his post i believe that viewsat will not go iks at this time but i think n3 is way more harder to cracked that is going to take some time ,but i think viewsat is loosing a lot of money and if they don,t find a solution soon they might go iks too. just my 2 cents

If yo like to wait then wait.., if you don't just buy something else. No one forced you to listen what VS said, just buy another brand, then you will be happier!

That's why I only support receivers and services that I actually have. Viewsat situation is definitely wait and see. Till then, we can forget about it.

yes i agree with all the bs promises, lets not hear them and worst of all are posts asking where is the fix (begging) who are unable to spare the time to do some reading like me but had to address this. lets move on to the next erra of free tv cause no more fta as we knew it. i love reading but immature posts finally kill ones interest in reading such a wonderful site and such knowledgeable members. thanks for reading

I have nothing against VS but I do refer to them as the 'old type' of fta.,.,.,it always seems that the rumors are about VS.,..,I remember about 6 weeks ago when an N3 fix was out and would be here in 2 weeks.,.,.,lol.,.,.,it had alot of members here fooled.,.

Viewsat is one of the IRD's with the most to lose. Being at one time one of the heavyweights in the FTA market its share has gone down a few notch's due (without a IKS addon) to the IKS route that some other stand alone machines have gone and the new kids on the block Nfusion, Kbox and so on. From reading all the info given to us rumour or not Kwak and his associates have alot of legal crap on their plate and this takes $$$$$. So it is either that they are in deep s---t with charlie or they are still trying to crack N3. As for the original thread in this post it is nice to let off steam but remember not to read to much in some of the posts and remeber it is a cat and mouse game a posts will be made to sell certain machines. The photos of the viewsat 2000 were beautiful and it shows you what u can do with these photoshop programs. Also i never saw a viewsat 2000 on the xxx.viewsatusa.com which would have been the first place to look if there a new IRD coming into play.

When this rumor first came out a few months ago I talked to a couple of the mods ar VS site and they said "no card sharing".. Things may have changed since then.. Just like the stand alone file, I'll believe it when I see it..

I have been saying for the last few months, you have to take every supposed c/p or official statement as a rumor and nothing more. People need to stop posting and getting everyone's hopes up. The wait has not been that long yet, if your waiting on viewsat... it could be awhile before they produce. Having a sub from your local cable or satellite provider is not such a bad idea... if you got the money to keep buying different satellite boxes you got the cash for basic cable or satellite.

i have seen this same post by the same person on a alot of other sites and they are stopping it in its tracks.why even post this kind of rumor and leave well enough alone.there is subs for unhappy testers like yourself so let it go and be happy doing something else.

Viewsat will not let us down they are king of STB we all know this. I do not see any isk for and if they do oh well it's all about selling boxes go where the money is.

I just want to say that I for one, want to Thank all the manufacturers of all the FTA receivers for what they have done for us in the past. I firmly believe they want to find an N3 crack worse than we do. They have to make a lively hood. We just want to watch TV. If they never find a crack, they still did a great job for us for many years. I have several different brands of receivers and if I end up throwing all of them in the trash, I have still gotten a real good value for the money I paid for them. I've been in the satellite TV thing since the 80's. I used to be a dealer for the big C-band systems that cost several thousand dollars.
Things change and the prices we pay today are a great bargain compared to the 80's. Just the installation fee back then was $500 and then we had to replace motor drives that wore out, LNB's, if lightning struck anywhere close to you home. polorator motors, etc. So, please, just be thankful for what we have received from all the great people that have enabled us to enjoy this great hobby and all the great friends we have made in this hobby because of them.
Please don't bad mouth them.
