There still hasn't been a release of any N3 files as of yet. Viewsat is still claiming they have them almost ready. Also the word is Team Pansat will be making a announcement this weekend on the N3. So keep checking the site as we will post up to date news.

Can always be hopeful, but the same old crap....blah, blah, blah. Viewsat sucks, they keep pumping hot air, setting release dates, and creating a lot of false hope, and still nothing. N3 has been out in Europe and Canada for a long time, without ANYONE cracking the code, it aint going to happen. IKS is the wave of the future, an dif the other suppliers of boxes don't jump on the bandwagon they are going to be left in the dust.....we are all entitled an opinion....this is MINE.

i,d say don,t hold your breath you might choke meaning that i doubt any rumor like this is only stupid people that don,t have a life and are posting fake rumors to see people get all excited and then nothing ,don,t hold your hopes up on this rumor.just the honest truth.take care and god bless.

Ya, how long will the IKS last, If I get another receiver, and it stop working with N3, i would have waist my money. Is the stability a guarantee until N4

remember that some brands were using iks long before N3 .,.,.,and when N3 hit they weren't really affected.,.,if you go iks.,.,go with a brand that is dedicated to iks.,.,and not a band wagon jumper.

i couldn,t agree more with brewboy but look at the recent let downs and now most of the iks boxes are etheir freezing or down constently is only a matter of time when all this iks comes crumbling down just watch and see,just my thinking god bless.

I noticed a bit of freezing on mine last week.,.,.,but has been fine since.,.,.,i think iks is a great alternative for the time being.,.,.,and if N3 does get cracked.,.,some boxes will still run iks.,.,

FACT N3 has been up and running in Europe for over 2 years now!!! It has not been compromised over there yet. We are no different in North America

yes but how long was N2 running in Europe before it was implemented in North America?.,.,when N2 came to town it took about 3 months to crack it.,.,you see what I'm saying?

Clear Up Some Facts About VS

There have been many rumors flying around in regards to VS. So I will set a few things straight. First off there was never any N3 VS Beta file made for release or for testing to special people. Secondly The VS coders premises or work area or warehouse as what was said was never nor has ever been broken into, raided. In Fact the VS coders are not even in North America and are spread out in different parts of the world.

As for any dates for a VS release for a standalone file, Again it is undetermined as it is still a work in progress. I can say they do have Video and Audio working, however it is very unstable. This is the part in which is making it very difficult but with time they will be able to solve that issue and get it to a stable state that will allow for a public release.

N3 was introduced in Europe at least a year or more ahead of its implementation in North America. There has been no stand alone files produced for it and this should tell you something. Europe has knowledable code teams too - yet nothing yet.

Most of the units in Europe with offerings are Linux based IKS units.

If you enjoy variety, get an IKS enabled unit, otherwise just watch some FTA like usual.

Well I for one am In no hurry, Im up on antenna, and get a few channels, I still got my free internet and if i have to choose free tv or free internet I got what I want :>

This VS thing had me crasy for a while my dusty neosat sits, and probibly will, if I have to be wired up I probibly wont bother with it...DOWN with EKS IKS POS

We were saved money for long time and now a lot of people are crying, because they dont watch tv for couple time, we know, we need wait for the code or buy other brand or pay the service, so, dont worry guys we'll have the code maybe soon.

Hey Sully: I received the same email on my mailbox, and I marked as Spam because it came from a site that I don't recognize, that I did not suscribe to and that I did not provide with my email address. That's very suspicious don't you think?

Also if you are thinking about and IKS receiver remember that D*** can "see" your IP address so be very careful.

And, in reference to elcochito comment, he is right we have been enjoying TV for a long time and nobody complained, just be patient and hope for the best.
