PPv ch's going to N4.. - ABA DSS

Well it seem there are strong rumor that the PPV, and XXX are going to N4..As well aknow IKS is geting big, also N3 is open(not 100%) but is open

I posted something when I came out the keys ishu explaining what the N3 and N4 but for the benefit of others is that if it comes with N4 DN in the VIP boxes like 211k, 612 222k, 722k and 622 and they already proved, it N4 is coming to the VIP with 2 providers for PPV and all in MPEG4,(XXX)

as you do that is that since August DN what you are doing is for new subscriptions is what is giving to a box if (1TV) is a VIP211k if (2tv's) give you the VIP222k or 211k and 311 if you want that you try to save the 622 or 722k and if you can not pay the 199.99 upgrade gives you the 625 because it is talde Mpeg2 but sooner or you will have to do the upgrade and will cost 199.99 and add the 2-year contract, 3TV's if you try to give VIP222k or 722k and a 622 or 311 but if you want to pay they give you the 322 or 625 with a 311 but know that in the future have to do the update and if you want 4TV's 2 dual tuners give you some of vip222k or 622 or 722 and 322 but if you want to pay for the 622 or 722 they give you the combination of 222k or 625 with a 322.
so that is what he had commented on the N4 but that are gradually moved to later give madrazo.

and the boxes were put jtag as 28xx and 29xx models no longer are turning and soon the same will happen with 301 and 5xx models and then continue with the models 311 and 381 to get the latest Mpeg2 models for others mpeg4 to finish everything in N4.

It would be a waste of money for DN to go to N4 right now with N3 not even comprimised.

well not really a watse they can lock down the big money makers like the 5 dollar ppv movies think how much money they make off that and then the ppv events at 50 buck a pop ufc... Today Dish Network caters to more than 10 million satellite TV consumers and its consumer base is just widening.so figure the money they are making just on the ppv and porn for 10 million people per year

I say its a waste because they probably even haven't had to roll out any ecms. N3 would be a waste then. N3 just got out of the oven now in the trash?

odd thomas started the n4 rumors some time ago bear in mind that he also said that a n3 fix would be released in the next few days at the same time

what I don't get, and bear with me for I'm not too bright, but how would anyone ordering a ppv or adult channels do so if only those with a N4 card be able to do so?

yeah it doesn't make sense that dik would spend all this money on the card swap just to do it again when there's nothing showing that the card has been comprimised

for those that remember the g cards were sent out and then in the middle of the swap out the h cards took over

back a year or so ago, there was talk about DN switching everything over to a HD signal (MPEG4).
The original post makes no sense, but I could see a future switch to N4 in order to create an all HD signal.

What about the thousands of boxes that are not VIP boxes. So with that logic if you don't have a VIP box you will not get PPV's? I don't think so. If it is only VIP boxes thkat go N4 that would elude to a fundamental equipment change. So that would meen DN would need to exchange out all those old boxes for N4 to be a true blow to FTA. If N4 is in the stream, N3 will be there along with it and N3 will still be in use for all customers.
