I don't know if this is actully a rumor or a question, but here goes.

I keep seeing nfusion is opening up a little more and are saying that they will have all channels on dish up 1rst of December. Could this be to opening up of plastic and this is why vs. is saying that a fix is immenent?

I know rumors are rumors and nothing to get upset about so figure doesn't hurt to ask people to set back and let vs. do there thing. Bashing them does't hurry them up, may actully slow them down.
Just thinking.

It is hard to say what will materialize, but if Nfusion does get their system wide open then it would lead to some great discussion as to whether or not they are running a cracked card or not.... Buying all PPV's everyday would be a great expense and risk so I dont see them doing it like that.

I guess we will see if they do go wide open or not.

The fact is that more and more hobbyists are switching to some form of IKS. So it doesn't get ALL the channels. Big f***ing deal! After all this time (the spring of 2008 here and a couple of years prior in Europe) waiting for a stand-alone N3 fix, no such thing is likely. And if something is released, it will likely get ECM'd within hours. So the old-fashoned method of downloading bins is truly dead. You may have TV for an hour or two. Not worth your trouble.
So, if you need to augment your cable or satellite sub, go with IKS. Of course, the other viable alternative is sharing satellite subs. Not mentioned much here, as it is not what forums such as this are all about.

Carl I think the member was only asking a question, I don't think he/she wanted a reply such as yours, once your associated with the fta world for a bit you may understand situations better, but to swear/curse that is going overboard unless you need to vent because you are having a bad day or something. Your reply didn't make much sense anyway, have a good day.

If a fix does come out and it happens to get ecmed as you say then plug the old iks back in until a new release is available, I highly dought you will see a standalone for awhile but if so there are options.

The Big F@@@king Deal was in reference to not getting all the channels, and wasn't aimed at the poster. Remember, we critique the info not the poster. There are lots of posts that don't make sense in many forums and we don't/shouldn't go out of our way to point them out. It's also a matter of opinion, again which we tend not to voice about someones post, unless it's egregious of course, which his wasn't.
And, it will inevitably become a p!ssing match which we don't want, cause it will close the thread.
