Even with legal troubles...these guys have a multi-million dollar enterprise going....you think they'll just rollover and die over a year or two in the klink and a small fine $250,000 (for them) think again.

Making big money is addictive...they won't give up easily...they'll adapt. They won't want to give up thier position in the industry or thier past and future customers(if they're smart).

They're already "skirting" the law...a little time making sure they "don't drop the soap" will make them even better at it!

Where has everyone come up with the idea that viewsat was busted im not seeing any info on that. Yes Viewtech was busted and some of them worked for viewsat too but that doesnt mean viewsat was busted ?????

from my understanding, Viewtech is the actual manufacturer of the STB. Whereas Viewsat is the US vendor.
Like I've said before, even if Jung goes to jail (which he won't) and even if Viewsat goes under (which they won't), it just opens the door to another vendor to pickup where Jung left off.
That's why it's called currency....it "FLOOOOOOWWWWWSSSS"

If you really think from ground up. you'll find your answers to when "N3*FIX" will be released. When viewsat was caught, I can be sure they will not be anywhere near the FTA market for quite a bit. Count them out. Now, IKS is released to a market for a short time. They've made a good amount of money. They've gain more than they've even expected in profiting wise. "IF" any of the manufactures out there beside "viewsat" who is running IKS have the N3 fix. They WILL NOT RELEASE IT. Why? because, money comes first. if IKS can sell, they'll wait it out til market gets low than with IKS then release the new fix to skyrocket their FTA receivers again. in this world, everything is about making money. if you were the manufactures, you'd do the same. expect some time before we can actually get a fix through. your truth will only be here at ABA.

Viewsat is still making telefonica fixes arent they? My thinking is that they think they are close but just cant reach the finish line. Give it time. A fix will come, it just may be longer than we want to wait.

I have only been involved with this field for about 8 months now. I only heard about it from a friend and I went and got a VS Ultra. This industry has come a long way since card reading and when it went down, running to the corner store to get the "FIX".

When the time comes that the "FIX" happens, then great, remember money makes the world go round. So all Companys, whether it be BV or DN, or whomever want to make tons of it. They will keep trying to keep their monopoly on printing greenbacks, and we the public will keep on trying to save a few bucks.

Actually with the black out happening, it did my kids good, they actually got off their duff and played outside more. Me, I think I even did more of the "Hunny-do" list around the house.

But winters coming, and here in the Great White North, it is Hockey season. So I can only wait, and wish for the new and improved fix. Till then, my kids have the Wii, tons o DVDs, and a couple of Bunny ear channels. So all the BIG boys aren't still getting any more of my money .

my thoughts are if vs had a fix and needed funds wouldn't u think they would sell it to another company.for one they get their money for what ever a fix is worth!!!!.two every one will than sell boxes even vs.this makes sense in my world lol.most boxses are made off shore,they have sold millions,i don't believe there is not enough money floating around to buy a fix.so what is the real story i don't think that has been said yet
