i came a cross this and just thought i would pass it on here. this is a c/p.

Kbox not a hero!!!
A once high ranking employee of coolsat , A former distributor of Coolsat products(other fta as well) and a once high ranking employee of the manufacture of the Coolsat 4000 ,5000 and 6000 units known as Hubtech have been conspiring for months in producing the new Kbox Fta units(CS technology).
With this conspiracy amongst them wheeled a lot of power. One of them being getting the finished coded bin file and releasing to sites for delivery to the internet. They deliberately have been holding back Coolsat files and taking every step possible to ruin Coolsat.
While doing this over the past several months they have taken Coolsat and Coolsat users as hostages.They’ve provided very bad support the past several months while leaving user with just enough hope their units will have the support it once had. It seems they have no problems cutting off support to the end users. They’ve been backstabbing Coolsat and Coolsat users for months now. Their plan was to pickup all coolsat users with their dongle support.
Well it appears that Coolsat has taken back control of this situation and has regained control of all Coolsat Line and will be releasing files for the 4000, 5000 and 6000 units as well. The delay on releases will not be there. As soon as files are ready they will be released for all models

Is it true? is it another strategy for coolsat to regain their customer since they pissed off too much and lost a lot of sales,,, question,,, question, but no answer!

I was a satisfied Coolsat 6000 user until the last 6 months...now I am an even more satisfied Viewsat Ultra user

To all you Coolsat 6000 owners I truly wish you well and hope that these once great boxes come back to life and provide you with viewing joy...you have far more patience than I possess

Even is this is true, to late for coolsat ,few customer are unhappy w/ the support, they know the support was drop and need to step up before all this go that far. hope having fixes coming soon enough for the owner who having the box on the closet looking for a new stb. only my opinion

If all this true.. WOW they took a along time.. I know few people that they got rid of the coolsat and move on, Or they leave for True FTA.

my self i dont think this is true. and if it is. like a lot of you guys said its kind of to late. a lot of people moved on. but i still have my coolsat 6000. and if the support dose come back. the c/s 6000 will be good in the bed room. or maybe i will set up to get bev with it. time will tell.

Would seem to have little or no merit.First of all to be a sucess the new box would have to be available and have outstanding support.Second you trash Coolsat, its owners, its support or lack of and third provide some incentive for the Coolsat owners to switch to the Kbox units.At this point all that has happened is alot of Coolsat owners got screwed and went to Viewsat and Captive Works.Does not look like Kbox got any benifit from this at all.Its a dog eat dog business where nothing is sure or safe.Peace. My Coolsat is at the bottom of the city dump.
