Re: HIKS Busted
I just don't get it anymore....this is such a great hobby with benefits that are beyond compare.....yet, there are those that constantly stir the ****pot and bash those that work so hard to keep this hobby alive....I hope one day all the phenomenal coders unite come up with a plan, turn their phasers from stun to vaporize and exterminate the worms that start these rumors.....
Like it's been said....don't like IKS/HIKS.....S.U.N.S.......don't by the equipment that uses it, and by all means, renew your subscription to Dave, Dik or B3v...which ever you prefer....I'm sure the FTA world will not shed a tear......To all the Coders and there peeps....Thank You.....

I can say this. If reading posts like this make you feel uneasy, Unplug your IKS/HIKS and don't use it anymore. Buy a box with good support like SV, VS, or CNX.
IKS goes down just the same as everyone else, so really, why risk your IP being logged.
If these rumors don't bother you much or not @ all then leave your IKS/HIKS on and use it until you receive a letter. (If that day ever comes)
I have an Nfusion and have found that some of the standalone boxes are just as good if not better than running IKS and having the liability.

I KNOW you must NOT own a Nfusion or Neosat iPro 2000 Plus--IKS??? Because if you did you would know that it is up 90% more than regular STB's---or NON IKS Box's!!! I own a Nfusion, Neosat iPro Plus, Sonicview, Viewsat, coolsat, pansat ect & the best buy was the Nfusion & NeoSat!!!!! They NEVER go down as much as my others, if at all!! I will bring up the past 2 days (August 27-28th) the ECM that hit, everyone but Nfusion went down!!! Some where back up with old files but that is NOT the point, IKS is NOT down as much as the NON IKS STB's!! Get your facts straight!! just thought i would let you in on the IKS systems out there!! Do NOT get me wrong, I'm NOT trying to bash you, It's a known FACT!! Later

Just wanted to add i also have both and lately neither one had been very dependable. The Nfusion is up most of the time my neo pro/a is rarely ever up it's a paper weight but if you are going to worry about the ip just takes a little research and with a good net connection and the Nfusion proxy software your good to go. Don't have that benefit with neo but you can buy a modded or mod your own high speed modem that will hide almost anything or so they tell me Sorry if this is the wrong place for this discussion.
