Just wondering - ABA DSS

My boss received a smart card from dish to update his software on his receiver last week, and the instructions said to update in 10 days. The 10 days should be up sometime this week, just wondering if someone might know if something is coming or no big deal. Thanks

People have been receiving that letter for months. We will have to wait and see when it happens.

Yes...but remember...If N3 is cracked fast, it could be also a double edged sword. The next step would be more drastic and might end up like DTV.

No big deal. You have a 14 day window to replace your smart card. Just watch CH 998. This has been running for months.

Yes I remember when they started to show that info on that ch. Everyone was going nuts..
