dn N3 test ??????? - ABA DSS

What was that all about ?? around 6pm all the channels started dropping off to the point that over half stopped working, was that a n3 test ???

Well after some scary moments. It seems everything is all right. There no new acitvity on the stream.

The adult channels went down for 1 to 2 min. ALL BACK now!!

Even subs were affected from what I've read.

When Sub get affected too. They need to pull the ECM. It happened before that we get hit and subs too. and they need to take it off the stream

Dn had a problem uplink center on some Tp's on various sats.
Even both ROM 102 and 241 were afftected

How could it be a electronic counter measure as it seem to shut down channels one at a time or in groups over a period of time, leaving some channels fully functional. Ive never seen that before !

Actually it had happened before. We got hit and sub people got problems too and they complaint about it. So they had to take the ECM out of the stream

Thats true, i remember but not on select channels. This was a scattered bunch on charlie.

I would think it was indeed a little test.

It has benn VERY quite lately, regarding ECM?

If ALL of the Adult stuff was lost for a few mins and then came back, it was for sure a test, the group will be moved as one when the time comes. Sounds like sooner than later.

just like international channels are down.
soon all of them will be,followed by adult/ppv,then a little latter the premiums,then the rest to follow.
the hd channels will go down at some point in there as well.
this will all happen in sections as it always does when they are swapping their cards.
i dunno what the story was tonight tho.haven't read anything for sure yet as to the cause.

WOW some update in the last hour-or-so...thx to all subscribers and the wonderful INSIGHT each of you provide..
Yes there hav been instances of great consequences in the past as regards the Sub n general being IMPACTED simultaniously n as a resul the ECM were withdrawn...
Now we have experienced some disrupptions in the INTERNATION channels being migrated and there sure was activity preceeding that in the past weeks -eventually bringing the current state of that segment in providers schedule n forth coming changes..
if past experience is any indication-It is safe to assume-the migration to N3 is getting closer n closer..like indicated in preceeding posts( adult-ppv-speciality-HD and so forth)
Disappointing as it is since the other provider that took route to N3 a few MONTHS ago-there is still NO RESOLUTION..so stay tuned and get ready for the evnts to unfold soooooon..for the current provider..
Keep it posted n keep it current ppl..stay with ABA ur one stop resource for all the info..you need...
