Coolsat support will be taken over...
It was announced today that Coolsat will be now supported by Neosat. This change follows the Neosat/Neusat Merger. Neosat has stated they will be incorporating the Coolsat Coders and all 3 recievers will have the best team and support ever. This is coming on in answer to the Nagra3 Encryption that has been effectively used in Europe for over a year now and Canada for months. Dishnetwork (Echostar) is in the proccess of changing over to it. The Neosat camp has announced they will be supporting a D O N G L E solution till the software solution is released

it would be great if the support picks up and the people with these units can get back to top notch support ,i have one of these stbs and would like to see the support the same as it was when i first got it.thanks for the update

That is good news.I have a dongle for my cs7000 maybe now we can get it to work.Do we have a dongle section?

Good to hear I picked up a CS4000 on ebay for 35$ just a month or so ago my first FTA STB .... LOL soon as I got it no more updates ... been up 2 or 3 days total. I had given up on it.... it does make a good cheap sat tuner and finder with my 8in LCD...ive had it on the roof tweaking the dish. It is simple to use when its up.

I think this is great news, just a few years back coolsat was at the top of the game, maybe they will be back.
