no quality - ABA DSS

Hi I'm having problem with my new viewsat ultra lite i have connected to a dish 500 and i have 70 on the S but 0 on the Q. Can someone help me on this please...

if your getting no quality it means your not pointed at the sat.your signal reading is your connection from lnb to reciever. have you checked out dishpointer .com for your line of sight?

read this:

quality and signal

quality- this bar indicates the signal the dish is picking up from the sat.
eg; echostar 7, nimic 1,3 etc... if your dish is not aligned you will not have
quality but you could have signal.

signal- this bar tells you the status of your connections including your coax,
all ends on the coax, and your switch. if you have no signal you cant pick up quality so both will read 0.

always check your settings and connections first and always turn your stb off before moving, changing,
or disconnecting anything.

Also you need to make sure you have correct LNB settings in the signal screen. If you have wrong type of LNB choice it can not let you get quality or affect the ability to receive the signal.
