Hello cidwf Welcome to aba, i feel your pain my friend, i use to own a 250sm , and was not very happy with it. so i sold it for twenty bucks to my cousin and now he is frustrated with all the bugs

, he always gives me a hard time about it, but i warned him.i suggest going with a sonicview brand or viewsat ,cnx to name a few.i really think pansat droped the ball on this receiver, sorry for your frustration buddy. Take Care and Good Luck!

helpful hints:
* read and understand the site rules to guide you through our many forums.
* hard reboot with the switch on back of your receiver solves many minor issues.
* before you unplug your receiver, or disconnect any connection including the
switch or lnb ALWAYS REMEMBER to turn the receiver off using the switch on back of the receiver.
you could burn up your switch or mess up your settings if you dont.
* post your type of receiver, your antenna settings, and explain your problem well to receive the best help.
* you need to upgrade your membership to access the files section on this site. this can be done by
clicking upgrade membership at the top of the page. it is free to join the site, ask questions and receive help.
you can upgrade at any time.
* hijacking threads is confusing and not wanted here at abadss. see the site rules to understand
better about hijacking threads. to avoid this start your own thread in the proper forum
if you have any questions.
* this is an informative and friendly site devoted to the fta hobby. the members
and moderators will be glad to help in any way they can.
