New Member. With lots of questions, please help.
Hello everyone, I'm new to all this and really have no idea how any of this works. I overheard a guy talking about this site at work saying that you can get a "dish network" dish and some receivers off ebay, some how put a code into the receivers and it unlocks all the channels for you. IS THIS TRUE?
Do I need to get special receivers for this? How do you put the code into the receivers? Please be patient with me on this, i'm totally dumb on how all of this works, but would love to get free tv. I'm hoping someone here can explain it all to me.

Hi gonmad23, welcome to ABA! This is the best FTA site on the web. Check out the links here in my post, one is specifically for "newbies". I know people hate to read, but really it is the best way to learn all you'll need to know. After reading through the different posts in the various forums, ask all the questions you want. We are here to help out each other as much as possible to make this hobby more fun for everyone. There are so many different receivers, dish types, that only you can decide what is best for you after reading everyone's opinion. Good luck, we are glad you joined us.
