I'm new...what do i do?(Moved)
I bought a captive work 800s receiver and have a dish ready to go. I just don't know where to start. So many options. Not sure which satellite to look for or anything. Please help. I live in Kingsville, Missouri. Thank you.

Re: I'm new...what do i do?
as of right now the only options available for the cw800 is true fta and you would need a dish atleast 30" and point at 123w
other options is getting an iks compatible receiver such as sonicview with ihub or kbox with khub or nfusion
welcome aboard friend
take a moment to look over the site rules via the link in my signature

Re: I'm new...what do i do?(Moved)
hello, welcome to abadss, the best fta site on the net!!
this is much more than just a place to get files. it is a community with dedicated members,
forums for just about anything, social groups, your own profile page, access to a weekly poker game,
and too much more to list.
make ABADSS your first stop for everything fta and you will be rewarded with much more.
reading is the best way to learn, use the search option to find posts related to your specific problem.
if you still need help post a question in the proper forum.
helpful hints:
* read and understand the site rules to guide you through our many forums.
* hard reboot with the switch on back of your receiver solves many minor issues.
* before you unplug your receiver, or disconnect any connection including the
switch or lnb ALWAYS REMEMBER to turn the receiver off using the switch on back of the receiver.
you could burn up your switch or mess up your settings if you dont.
* post your type of receiver, your antenna settings, and explain your problem well to receive the best help.
* you need to upgrade your membership to access the files section on this site. this can be done by
clicking upgrade membership at the top of the page. it is free to join the site, ask questions and receive help.
you can upgrade at any time.
* hijacking threads is confusing and not wanted here at abadss. see the site rules to understand
better about hijacking threads. to avoid this start your own thread in the proper forum
if you have any questions.
* this is an informative and friendly site devoted to the fta hobby. the members
and moderators will be glad to help in any way they can.
enjoy the forums and come back often!

Re: I'm new...what do i do?(Moved)
It's not the best time to break into fta, only true fta working with your receiver. Hang tight, things will get better.
