Not really new, but been gone a couple years
Could sure use someone to take me under their wing and point me in the right direction until I get running again. Used to have an SV-4000, (ex-)wife made me get rid of FTA so I just got rid of (ex-)wife . Just ordered SV-360 elite with a dongle(whatever that is) and can't wait til it arrives. Any of the Mods remember me? Is it just as easy as it was with the SV-4000 and a thumb drive? Help!?
Thanks in advance and I hope I am not in the wrong forum.

great to have you back, bud. you being a long time member will probably know many of the faces around here.
the dongle helps you connect to the internet to utilize the IKS technology.

Hi chefkrh, welcome back.....nice to see you again. Looks like Buddy fixed you up with some links to start out with and as soon as you receive the 360 post your questions in the "live support" section of the forums for support. You can also post in the 360 Elite "help" section. Let us know when it arrives and I'm sure you'll find it's almost as easy as the SV4K....just a few extra steps and the fact that it uses IKS through the iHub (dongle). You'll be fine I'm sure. Look around and read all you can. Look forward to hearing from you again, hope you participate in the forums....gen. chit chat or whatever...there's plenty here to do...new Arcade section, etc. Good luck to you and once again welcome back!!!

Yes, I recall helping you in the past.
Great to have you back again!
You might not have made the best choice possible at this time. (SV freezing issues)
Maybe you can change your mind or wait & see if it gets better. (it should)
I think a lot of us have what you have...an old SV4000 & an ex-wife. lol
