hi im sunny,
hellow guys girls. im sunny from boston,
IM NEw!! jjiji

got a quickly question my dad trying to installed 3 satellites, into 1 receiver,..hes using 4x1 switch,..
gosh it took me awhile to registere i was about to registere in forums like fta,.. but i did it,... well let me kno ,, thank you, |

i dont get it do.. the dish 500 has 2 cable thingies to put cable on it 2 what it...mm i dont have the name in my head hope u kno what im trying to say,.. it has 2 cables the satellite to connect, and the switch has 4x1 and the one for satellite.. ok i got that,.. now it says on the switch lnb 1 , 2 , 3 4,... and the dish has 2 of those wholes to put on.. how can i conect the 2 from satelite in to one,... dont i have to sucrafies 1 cable from satelite to put in on the switch cause the switch is 4x1

If there are two cable port on one lnb then you connect only one cable from lnb to switch. If you r not useing switch then you can hook two receiver driectly from lnb to receiver useing two cable..

uhh cute,... just makin sure because the satellite said 110 and 119, so i was thinkin he needed to put the 2 lnbs into the switch because it said on the switch 1 llnb , 2 . 3 4, .. so i can connect one cable either one correct from dish 110 or 119, into 1 port on the switch,...

Glad to have you. many LNB's that are used today have built in switches in the head of the LNB. Look at our pictures and let us know what type LNB you have and we can give you some setup suggestions...
