I am new.
Hi everyone,
I have some stupid questions but Ireally don't. If Ihave a problem and ***aaineed for help I click "new thread" to post my problem. And if someone refly my post, after I read instruction ,Ican fix my problem then i click "THANK" - right ?
And if after i read and i don't understand or the instruction doesn't fix my problem , where do i click to write back?
And what are those words "QUOTE" and "MULTIQUOTE" mean?
Thank you for reply.

Re: I am new.
hello, welcome to abadss, the best fta site on the net!!
this is much more than just a place to get files. it is a community with dedicated members,
forums for just about anything, social groups, your own profile page, access to a weekly poker game,
and too much more to list.
make ABADSS your first stop for everything fta and you will be rewarded with much more.
reading is the best way to learn, use the search option to find posts related to your specific problem.
if you still need help post a question in the proper forum.
helpful hints:
* read and understand the site rules to guide you through our many forums.
* hard reboot with the switch on back of your receiver solves many minor issues.
* before you unplug your receiver, or disconnect any connection including the
switch or lnb ALWAYS REMEMBER to turn the receiver off using the switch on back of the receiver.
you could burn up your switch or mess up your settings if you dont.
* post your type of receiver, your antenna settings, and explain your problem well to receive the best help.
* you need to upgrade your membership to access the files section on this site. this can be done by
clicking upgrade membership at the top of the page. it is free to join the site, ask questions and receive help.
you can upgrade at any time.
* hijacking threads is confusing and not wanted here at abadss. see the site rules to understand
better about hijacking threads. to avoid this start your own thread in the proper forum
if you have any questions.
* this is an informative and friendly site devoted to the fta hobby. the members
and moderators will be glad to help in any way they can.
enjoy the forums and come back often!

Re: I am new.
You go to the forum that you want to ask a question and hit new thread. When you read reply and it helps you can click on thanks under the posted response that gave reply. When you need more help in that same thread click on reply or go to bottom of page and fill in quick reply box. the quote box will allow you to include the that reply in your next reply so you won't have to read through all the other answers in that post. Multi-quote will let you include and many previous replies in your reply as needed or wanted. Under your avatar and screen name you will see a scale, this is for reputation points, if you feel that someone helped you resolve your issue or want to show that you feel this person is helping others on this site click here and give that person reputation points, they will show up in green blocks under that persons avatar, and hopefully you'll be seeing the same under your name as you begin to help others! There are no stupid questions here at ABA!

Re: I am new.
The thanks button is there as a way of showing your appreciation to someone for helping you or just because you like what they had to say.
The Quote button is a way to show exactly what post you're replying to. I used the quote button here to show you and everyone here what post I'm talking about when I post my reply.
The multi quote button allows you to reply to many posts at once. You hit the multiquote button on all the post's you want to reply to and then after you select all the posts you want you go to the top left or bottom left and click the "Post Reply" button, you will see this button just above your user name in your first post.
So if you tried something someone suggested and it didn't work you can click quote on the post and say like I tried this and it didn't worrk or I tried this and it worked, etc.
