Newb, saying Hello
Just wanted to drop a line and say hello, this seems like a great place to learn. Almost an overload of information. Just bought a Dish Network 1000.2 and trying to pick out a reciever. I have no idea what I am doing yet, but I am excited about it. If anyone has time to point me in a good starting point. Little confused on the Dish having 3 coax lines, my house has two feeding in for sat. don't know how to wire this thing yet...for a reciever looks like I'm torn between viewstat ultra and soniceview elite.

If you have a dish 1000.2 you may as well get a HD receiver and go with the SV8000 and a 8PSK Module .
you'll be able to pick up sats 110, 119 and 129 
The ultra is one sweet receiver too..
