I'm Lost - ABA DSS

Hi Reader,
I'm really not sure I'm even in the right place to even say hello. And it's taken 4 visits to even get to here. I have been a paid member for several months and have been trying to understand where I'm supposed to be to say hello and where to be to ask a question that been driving me nuts for a very long time about my satellite system. SO here goes- HELLO EVERYBODY and
the question: I've got a Viewsat VS PRO and it seems to work just fine except when I Nimiq 1,3 , Nimiq 2 and Anik F3. The scan sees it great and the S & Q are also great but I get No video or audio except on the guide and info channels. I'm using the latest bin file which works great on the other Sats
(ie: echostars etc.) I'm really out of my league on this stuff but I'm learning as quick as I can. I've tried every thing I can think of but to no avail.
Can anybody help me, PLEASE ?!!!

Your in the right place to say hello, and the viewsat pro section is where you can post questions about your receiver. Go to forums and then viewsat and scroll down to your receiver. Many members, site helpers or mods will pick up your questions from there!

Have you tried a very hard reboot at the back of the box...? If you are unsure of where to post, or you don't feel your question was answered in a timely fashion. Please feel free to send me a pm or a visitor message.

You can also try and make sure the a/v cables are in the proper spot...yes i know your not a moron...but sometimes its the small things that get us.

Hi and welcome to ABA!! I realize that sometimes this can all be overwhelming. There is also a drop box in the upper left hand corner, where it says "SonicView", VS is the second name on the list. Go to the VS page and then you'll find your help files for your ViewSat. Post your questions in the "help section" only, not the download section. You can ask a gerneral question in "general chit chat" but anything about your equipment should be in the proper sections. Read through the "newbie" section if you haven't already, it has some good tips. Let us know if you are still having trouble finding things, we would like to help keep some of the frustrations down...testing can be very frustrating, but fun. Just have some patience and hang in there! Glad to have you here! Good luck.
