hi everyone
I have "0" knowledge about FTA.
Anyway what does FTA stand for?
So...
I need a dish... a receiver... cables
What would you recommend for one TV in a house?
HD - Yes!
Location - California.
Im confused, what do you need to know to recommend?

FTA= FREE TO AIR
it all depends on a couple of things..what sats you want to view, make of tv HD or not..
Read, Read and Read some more

Hi and welcome to ABA! I know exactly how you feel, but if you have some patience and start reading, you'll do fine. Follow advice from Ricksbeach above.
Start in the "newbie section" and then work your way around the forum, there is everything here as far as information you need to start this hobby. Go to the "receiver reviews" section and read all the comments and maybe you'll be able to figure out what you like. Use the "FTA Glossary" tab above to help with words that you don't understand...also the "search" tab is a great source. We are glad to have you here.
Hope you enjoy your stay and learn all about FTA testing!

Very interesting that you found our site but don't know what fta means! Well just some different clarification about ABA, we are a group of fta testers as a hobby! Others have already guided and advised you to read, I concur, and say post back with all additional questions.
