Hello to all !
New guy here  ,
I got a link to the site from my boss who is also a member here. I don't have any stuff yet but plain on it, if some one has a suggestion on a place to shop, market place link? Thanks in advance!!
Also I have my own satellite dish and pick ups, just wondering what more I need to get up and running???
I'm in Mississippi but come from Niagara Falls US, Don't hold that against me  .

hello, welcome to abadss, the best fta site on the net!!
this is much more than just a place to get files. it is a community with dedicated members,
forums for just about anything, social groups, your own profile page, access to a weekly poker game,
and too much more to list.
make ABADSS your first stop for everything fta and you will be rewarded with much more.
reading is the best way to learn, use the search option to find posts related to your specific problem.
if you still need help post a question in the proper forum.
helpful hints:
* read and understand the site rules to guide you through our many forums.
* hard reboot with the switch on back of your receiver solves many minor issues.
* before you unplug your receiver, or disconnect any connection including the
switch or lnb ALWAYS REMEMBER to turn the receiver off using the switch on back of the receiver.
you could burn up your switch or mess up your settings if you dont.
* post your type of receiver, your antenna settings, and explain your problem well to receive the best help.
* you need to upgrade your membership to access the files section on this site. this can be done by
clicking upgrade membership at the top of the page. it is free to join the site, ask questions and receive help.
you can upgrade at any time.
* hijacking threads is confusing and not wanted here at abadss. see the site rules to understand
better about hijacking threads. to avoid this start your own thread in the proper forum
if you have any questions.
* this is an informative and friendly site devoted to the fta hobby. the members
and moderators will be glad to help in any way they can.

After reading everyone's suggestions, maybe you can decide which stb would best suit you. Then you can start shopping around for the best deal. WOW,
I have been reading in the reviews and there are so many units I'm not sure what to get here it's kinda confussing, a couple things come to mind here. I think my boss has a "coolsat" unit not sure of the model number but have seen someone say there not that good.
Also I have 42" LCD monitor with 1080p already have an HDMI cable hooked to my computer. There really is no more info that I can think of off hand that I need.
Also one question do I have to join the member ship? Or..........
I can start anohter thread if you think I should? I may also be hooking up a surround sound as of right now I want to get a new system for it as the one I have is getting old.
Any help would be GREAT  |

OK,
I couldn't edit that post but I already have the pick ups for the dish not sure that they will even work with one of these units? If some one could help with finding out, I'll dig them out of storage and see if they have any numbers on them or markings to identify them with..........
