hello all - ABA DSS

As I begin my life as a fta experimenter I have run into my first problem!!! I have a sw44 switched going to a legit B3v, I am using port 3 from the sw44 to my cs8100. I canonly get the FTa to recognize one sat and not all the channels are coming through. Glad to become a member here and hopfully we have a long fta life together!!

Any help out there?

The sw44 is power throught line 1 from the bev system. My settings are lnb stnd , freq 11250 ,22 off, I am able to get both bird just not at the same time. I choose the option from cs8100 for sw44 and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

hello, welcome to abadss, the best fta site on the net!!
this is much more than just a place to get files. it is a community with dedicated members,
forums for just about anything, social groups, your own profile page, access to a weekly poker game,
and too much more to list.
make ABADSS your first stop for everything fta and you will be rewarded with much more.
reading is the best way to learn, use the search option to find posts related to your specific problem.
if you still need help post a question in the proper forum.

helpful hints:
* read and understand the site rules to guide you through our many forums.
* hard reboot with the switch on back of your receiver solves many minor issues.
* before you unplug your receiver, or disconnect any connection including the
switch or lnb ALWAYS REMEMBER to turn the receiver off using the switch on back of the receiver.
you could burn up your switch or mess up your settings if you dont.
* post your type of receiver, your antenna settings, and explain your problem well to receive the best help.
* you need to upgrade your membership to access the files section on this site. this can be done by
clicking upgrade membership at the top of the page. it is free to join the site, ask questions and receive help.
you can upgrade at any time.
* hijacking threads is confusing and not wanted here at abadss. see the site rules to understand
better about hijacking threads. to avoid this start your own thread in the proper forum
if you have any questions.
* this is an informative and friendly site devoted to the fta hobby. the members
and moderators will be glad to help in any way they can.

Hello and welcome to ABA! If you are not able to get the help you need from this area, I suggest you start a new thread in the "FTA Accessory" discussion area or the CoolSat help page. But it does look like a couple of the people are trying to give you a hand here.

Otherwise, you can go to the upper left hand corner to the drop down menu, you can find the CoolSat section there and there will be an entire "help section" for the CS8100, be sure to read through the "sticky files" also. And in the forums for your switch and dish questions, there is a section that will help you out.

It's just easier in an area that you can ask your question and get an answer....instead of in between the "welcomes" here in the "introduction section". Good luck to you, I know someone here can help to get you up and testing in no time!!
