Hello everybody.....
I just got my sv hd-8000,36" dish and motor...I think this is nice place to learn, so I will be on the road with somes questions for the next weeks,months or perhaps years...learning never end!!...Thank a lot for let me in.

Hello and welcome to ABA! Looks like you have made some great choices already, your equipment and joining ABA! The "sticky" files on the SonicView help page are wonderful guides to help walk you through your setup. Look in the dish section also. The FTA glossary tab above is great if you get stuck on a word. Let us know if you need help. You are going to love the SV8000HD! The only thing left is to upgrade your membership so that you can download the files from here. They are safe and tested before being released to us, so it is well worth the small amount you pay. But that's a decision you will have to make. Good luck and have fun with your new hobby!

this is much more than just a place to get files. it is a community with dedicated members,
forums for just about anything, social groups, your own profile page, access to a weekly poker game,
and too much more to list.
make ABADSS your first stop for everything fta and you will be rewarded with much more.
reading is the best way to learn, use the search option to find posts related to your specific problem.
if you still need help post a question in the proper forum.
helpful hints:
* read and understand the site rules to guide you through our many forums.
* hard reboot with the switch on back of your receiver solves many minor issues.
* before you unplug your receiver, or disconnect any connection including the
switch or lnb ALWAYS REMEMBER to turn the receiver off using the switch on back of the receiver.
you could burn up your switch or mess up your settings if you dont.
* post your type of receiver, your antenna settings, and explain your problem well to receive the best help.
* you need to upgrade your membership to access the files section on this site. this can be done by
clicking upgrade membership at the top of the page. it is free to join the site, ask questions and receive help.
you can upgrade at any time.
* hijacking threads is confusing and not wanted here at abadss. see the site rules to understand
better about hijacking threads. to avoid this start your own thread in the proper forum
if you have any questions.
* this is an informative and friendly site devoted to the fta hobby. the members
and moderators will be glad to help in any way they can.
