Hello Everyone!!
Hi there,
Im Dj tiko and Im from Ontario Canada. I decided to join this forum because Im looking for an FTA Receiver soon and I'm not going to have a clue how to set it up so I guess this is the right place for that.
Right now I have an old EMU setup but I have no idea how it works, all I know Im getting 110 and 119.
Im just looking for the cheapest fta receiver but also good quality, looking at either a captive works 700 or a viewsat ultra lite.
Anyways when the time comes for help I know where to ask.

Hello DJ and welcome to ABA!! You are right, this is the place to get great information on how to set up your receiver. The ones you have mentioned have had good things said about them. Have you checked out the "receiver reviews" in the forum below?? It might be a good read if nothing else and maybe give you a better idea about all the different receivers. We are glad you have joined us. Remember to ask when you need help...lots of knowledgeable people here willing to give you a hand!

i don't like the ultra lite because it has a fan on the power supply. loud noises and moving parts aren't ideal for TV watching
