Nascar Hot Pass
hey guys i know this my be a really dumb question..but is it possible to get channels from other satellite companies such as like NASCAR HOT PASS from direct t.v. ? thanks for any input.

Sorry Buddy, DTV uses a different encryption code. Just not possible with FTA units...

Point your dish at Nimiq 1,3, setup your antenna settings for nimiq 1,3 on your receiver and do a channel scan just prior to or during the NASCAR event and enjoy...you will of course need a working bin so be patient

b3v channels 440-445 Nimiq1,3(91). Scan before race begins and you should get it, depends if b3v up and your pointing at it.

also lots can be found on the locals on dn, i watched footbal from lots of places by using the local networks on the higher channels.....

so i went into my sat settings and when i select nimg1 and 3 i get signal...so i should scan when there is a race on then?....do i need to delete all channels before doing a scan?

make sure dish is pointing at 91 or will not pick-up.no don't need to delete channels

I got hotpass off of 82 w not 91 but you can bet I will scan both this weekend to see if I get more of the channels as off of 82 I only got two of them I hope there are more on 91. Thanks for turning my light switch on in my head
