Wings Opening GOAL to take the lead disallowed

Hello folks if the memory serves me well that was Mr Brett Hull n the Dallas Stars that won a SATNLEY CUP on a clearly -I mean Clearly BAD CALL by the officials..Repeated REPLAYS removed any doubts and league later addmitted it was too late to correct the mistake cuz STARS were already celeberating on ice.

This call last nite in game #4,I guess pales to that Fateful night for the NHL officiating .. ??

Numrious REPLAYS seen by fans around the country know that..Holstrom was in the CLEAR-SIMPLE in the CLEAR n GOAL was disallowed??What a joke??
So much for the officials doing their job??

BTW Mr Hull now sits in the excecutive suites at the Dallas home ice pond?? in the great comapany of Mr Bettman - all this under his watch??

Hey like they say History repeats itself ?? Brett Hull and the Dallas Stars..again..get away with it..under watchful eyes of The Commissioner in attendance??

They win the final just a few years ago and walk away with THE CUP and now they rob a legit TEAM from making to the FINAL with consecutive sweep all in the name of OFFICIALS doing their JOB..thx folks..

Additionally is it a coincidence that Dallas get six power plays in game three on home ice and every time at the start of the period when ice is fresh ,they get first call under TWO minutes at the start of the game-Get another one to Start the second and again under three minutes at the start of the third??, go figure folks..

One of those things "I will see what I can do for you"..thx -so goes the NHL..no wonder there is NO CANADIAN TEAM in the contest at this stage of the tournament>>>

granted the wings are a good team, you can't expect to win them all, bad reffing or not.
it makes me laugh how ppl can get down on their team or start blamming the ref's for a loss. Thats hockey folks, just part of the game.
There has been 20 dissallowed goals in this playoff season alone and the wings would have still lost 3-2 even if that goal did stand.

So very right my friend BUT-BUT the dynamics of the game's progression n momentum depends on the way the game unfolds..specially for the HOME ICE TEAM that is facing elemination after having wonderful prev rounds with Ducks n Sharks....

WINGS are sitting pretty with their situation BUT just making a point how the events unfold in any given environment of the pro sports..folks (Ref's) make mistakes but wise ppl don't make the same mistake twice..?? In this case in fav of Dallas??

That's life so true moving on n lookn fwd folks....but hey 3-2 loss is a hypothetical assumption??

hey buddy, don't get all scientific on me... lol. it's only hockey.
if the wings ended up losing the series by some miraculous comeback by dallas, then i would start complaining about the bad officiating.

not to worry bud, i'm sure your wings are going to the stanley cup finals.

In the meantime, something did smell rotten in Dallas last night and it wasn't the locker rooms. I suspect we will have an 8-0 game saturday by the time the Wings get done with a mediocre Dallas team.

I think it was shields or hasek one or the other. The worst call in nhl history might i add.

If memory serves well that wud b Mr Dominator - Domnic Hasak?? with buffalo..i think in 1998-1999 season??

if the shoe was on the other foot, would you down the the refs for disallowing a goal for the Stars???? <grin>

Goalie at the time of the infamous goal by Brett Hull back in 99, I believe is current goalie for the Wings sitting on the sidelines, Hasek.

Another thing with Brett Hull, where was he playing in 2002, where he racked up a bunch of points for your team in the playoff, no complaints then for his 10 goals was there??? LOL

Mr Hull came to Redwings with a great resume -no question about that BUT BUT he came to REDWINGS cuz he figured that was his chance 2 join d group n the team that has been a contender with Scotty in the driver seat..BTW he got paid handsomely for his call to the duty..??

More so -This is not about players but about the officiating that know that there are eyes of the camera n replay is part of the equation..when in doubt get 2 the camera folks..this time d Redwings next time ???

Ref / folks make mistakes but is it not d reason they have REPLAYS in the game now...can't win 'em all i guess BUT let 'em play d game ..

Dallas just went thru four OT game to come play Redwings n if I can recollect there were NO PENALTIES called in three OT..they let 'em play n decide d out come then suddenly there was penalty early in fourth..PP Dallas -wins???
