Those who were looking forward to the match between RAFA n ROGER are sure disappointed with the outcome of this Semi today.
Murray finished a stunning, rain-interrupted 6-2, 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-4 victory Sunday at Flushing Meadows to reach his first Grand Slam final and stop the No. 1-ranked Nadal’s 19-match winning streak at major tournaments thereby refusing RAFA his chance to win first US OPEN after since ranked #1 and after winning the *******s erlier in summer.
The final will be played Monday night folks - be there it's going to be historic as Roger goes for the fifth while Andy will be first British player to win a major championship since 1936 ( Fred Perry).
BTW-FYI Andy Murry is a US-OPEN junior Champ from 2004.
RAFA in the meantime failed in his attempt to win THREE Slams consecutively just like the greats of Rod Laver ,Pete Sampra and you guessed Roger Federer..he would have been just the fourth.

SERENA vs JELENA
Serena Williams was to face Jelena Jankovic on Sunday night in the women’s final, postponed a day because of rain. Williams was seeking her third U.S. Open title and ninth major title overall.
The 26-year-old Williams is in line to collect her first U.S. Open title in six years, having won crown in 1999 and 2002
She will return to the top of the Rankings if she wins the FINAL.On the other hand JELENA will make her FIRST Major Finals appearance.jelena briefly held #1 Ranking last month but could return to the top if she wins first Gran Slam here.
