I can't disagree. Bama was handed the No. 1 spot...it wasn't earned. And how did Texas Tech earn the No. 2 spot with two FCS schools on their schedule? How does Utah move up 2 spots (after a 4-6 victory over NM) while USC drops two spots after slaughtering Wash. 58-0?
The BCS is an embarassment.

Washington was 0-8, any high school team would've beat them. Look at USC's schedule, they played 2 games against Ranked Teams, Ohio(5) and Oregon(21).
Ohio now ranked 12 and Oregon is not. Texas Tech has 4 ranked teams on their schedule and they beat #1. Florida slaughtered LSU and Georgia both highly ranked 4,6. Penn State played Ohio(13), won only 13-7 and beat Illinois(22) 38-24, big deal they weren't convincing at all and have no other ranked teams on their schedule.
If USC gets the Championship Game I might never watch College Football again.
Alabama, only palyed Clemson, no longer ranked and Georgia, now 14th, then they play LSU, if they lose they are gone from Bowls and again their schedule isn't as hard as Texa Tech's or Texas.
If Texas Tech beats both Okla's they'll play in the BCS. Screw USC.

The BCS and AP polls aren't that different, but I would move any 2 loss team further down the ladder than they have them.

if usc played in the sec or big 12 they'd go 6-6 and a minor bowl. somehow watch out they're gonna fix it so usc gets in title game because of the L.A. television market.
