There are quite a few english-speaking with spanish subtitles channels plus channels like CNN International and BBC World.

What size dish depends on where your located....here in Barbados a standard DTV dish gets most of the channels but 6fter is better. This sat requires a Linear LNB. Also only specific receivers can get it Viewsat, Sonicview and CaptiveWorks to name a few.

You havent mentioned where your located.... if your south of Barbados then yes the 39" will work otherwise you`ll need a bigger dish...other than that everything else you got is good to go.

Yeh that 39" isnt going to get anything. I would guess a 8ft maybe able to get a signal but i have no way of knowing for sure.

Because your closer to Mexico than South America you would need a smaller dish to get sky mex. Your waayy outta the footprint for amazonas and would therefore need a much larger dish. A 6fter here in Barbados gets a signal reading of 75 and a quality reading of 75. So being as your much much further north than myself you`ll need a much larger dish.....an 8fter may not even get it.
