what does a Auto roller do ? and how does it work?

Auto roll is built into the bin file of your STB. When the 32 digit keys change, the auto roll starts to hunt for new keys. this is how STB's run when keys are changed. It usually happens so quick, you don't know it...

I saw my 650s flash a Nagra key menu on the screen for about 5 seconds today...about an hour before it went down...I dont know what this adds to the question but I thought it was interesting  |
