No EPG although there is good signal
No Epg although there is good signal
Hi guys sorry to bother you with this but I have this problem with me CW650 classic, when I go to the channel guide or even when I change from channel to channel manually (using the remote) there is no information on the program being displayed, I can see the channels no problem the signal is great and everything but the guide will only show No EPG so I cannot now the name of the movie or program I’m currently seeing, also the next programs or schedules are not available.
This is somehow annoying as I cannot use the “find” tool on the remote ..plus if I change to a channel were the program or movie already started there is no way for me to know what is it whaat I’m seeing…
Some channels are ok as they show the info, channels like PPVs and some Porn channels show the info but basically the rest of the channels won’t show anything… it this some sort of settings issue, is this related to the bin file… or is it because of the antenna orientation… can anyone advice.
BTW I have tried keeping the guide for a while to see if the information is updated but after 5/10 minutes still nothing happens…
Thanks

Re: No EPG although there is good signal
tell us what kind of dish/lnb you have and what sats you are pointed at and post your antenna settings from the menu

Re: No EPG although there is good signal
ok the epg info is streamed through a tp on 119w echo 7 that is why you get very little epg info
you need to add another lnb

Re: No EPG although there is good signal
You can try using ch 195(military channel) on 110 to populate the epg...
