I have a dish network 500 dish with dual lnb and i purchased a sonicview 360 elite i did everything the manual said i got 70 signal and 100/99 quality i've scaned echostar8 but the channles i picked up still say no signal can i get some one to give me a step by step from the time i opened the sonicview box

go into your menu settings-installation-dish setting check and make sure your dish is set up in this manner..

I was unaware that i had to do that for my unit im new at this we are talking about the sonicview 360 elite

Yes, it won't do what you want it to do without adding the file.

Sounds like your dish is pointed right.

You need the latest file (bin) for your receiver.

Did you see the "sticky files" on the SonicView 360 elite "help section" page. It has great set up information.

there, from what I've heard. Yes you will need to upgrade your membership in order to download the file to get started. The first link
