Please Help Us to Help You!
We are all here to help each other as best we can, but in order to do that, we need your help please!!
If you are asking a question, please be as specific as possible and at the minimum, give your receiver Make and Model type.
I know for some, the technical information is a little confusing because this is very new to you. It can sometimes be confusing to the ones
that have been around a long time. But if you can try to make sure you post your question on the correct "receiver help page" and at least
ALWAYS list the model and make of your receiver, it will make such a difference to the person trying to help you. For example, if by chance
you have a coolsat and you ask for a file or help, but your question is put in the sonicview section, without saying you have a coolsat, you
will receive sonicview information. Needless to say, we don't have a crystal ball and we can't always know that you are in the wrong section
if you haven't been more specific. This will really be appreciated and it will make sure you receive correct information.
Thank you so much. I just want the best for everyone!

Re: Please Help Us to Help You!
Very well said Peggy. Never feel you are giving too much information when you are asking questions. It is hard to diagnose a problem with just a few lines, ( my receiver is not auto rolling). many things can cause problems, by giving us your STB make and Model, LNB type, Switch information if you are using any, File you are currently using, If this is new install, has the STB run before the problem started. The more info you give us, the better we can diagnose your problem...

Re: Please Help Us to Help You!
Thanks Peggy13,
There are a lot of new users on the system, and, if you happen to post in the wrong thread, ie., one NOT dedicated to your receiver brand and model, EVERYONE will assume that you have that make and model, as that is ALL the info we have to go on.
Subsequently, ALL of the info you may receive ... as a result will be wrong.
Please, take a second, and ensure that you start your question by indicating what type of receiver you have and the model number i.e. Sonicview 8000 or CW700 ect ...
Doing so will help us, help you better.
Nice work, Peg.
Creative Genius
P.S. The crystal ball was a nice touch, so true, mine's not working

Re: Please Help Us to Help You!
Thanks for the heads up Peggy.
Yes unless they are specific in their inquiries it is difficult to attack the problem.
It will help if they also include type of Dish, LNBs,what satellites they are trying to establish etc.
Thanks Peggy.
