signal problem
Hi ,
I have vs2000 extreme ,the signal meter keeps flashing and i can't lock onto the satelite. it jumps in an instant from 0to about 80%.
Can sombody help me , i don't know what i'm doing wrong.
Please help.

that usually happens when you are pointed at 101w(DTV)...which sat are you trying to aim at?...chachi...

first of the ViewSat receivers are all down at the moment due to Nag 3, second if the signal in pouncing first check the switch, change it to other port and see....

i misread your post and thought your quality meter was jumping...if your signal meter is jumping,you have a bad connection somewhere in the run...drinking and FTA don't mix well...but then again if i drink enough i can almost watch any channel that has gone nag3...lol...chachi...

i'm trying to get echostar 10.11. The signal meter is ok it's the quality meter jumping like crazy

well then, as i stated earlier in this thread,you are most likely hitting 101w...from there just lower it a bit and swing dish further west(to the right when standing behind dish)...it has also been stated that that sat is no longer working for the extreme...chachi...
