118.8 and 119
I have dish with two lnbs pointed to 110 and 199.
Can I receive programs from 118.8 using the same lnd which I use for 119?
Or maybe I have to buy special type of lnb?

Re: 118.8 and 119
you'll need a dual circular LNB 10750 freq. to replace the one you got there.
after that it'll work for 119/118.

I asked the same question before and someone said "Google this CB2008" It works for me.

Re: 118.8 and 119
Thanks for advise. I just bought Circular Dual 118/119 LNB.
Now I have to install it on my roof but I have another question.
This LNB has two outputs. Do I need to connect each output to different input in my switch? Or I can have both satellites on one port?

That CB2008 is the exact same LNB I have on my dish. Only one connection and I get both 118 & 119.

Re: 118.8 and 119
I think I did something wrong. I removed my DishPro Lnbs and installed CB2008 LNB where 119 LNB was.
Now I do not have any signal even if I switch LNBs back. I use DP34 switch. Could I burn it by a chance?
I wanted to scan 118.7 and 119 but with no luck.
Could anybody post right receiver settings for this LNB and these satellites? I have SV360 Premire.

Re: 118.8 and 119
What about it?
I am asking for help with SV360 iHub with LNB.
I do not know how to set up these devices in receiver and if this LNB can work with DP34.

Since you removed and re-installed, the best guess could be out of alinement. I have found these small dishes are so touchie on where you have that LNB pointed. As an example, I have 12 layers of tin foil under one corner of one of my three and that changed the quality by 20 points up! A place to look at.
As for the DP34 switch, you will have to wait for the pros here to give you advise on that item.

Re: 118.8 and 119
Thanks for advice.
This evening I went to my roof and removed my DishPro LNBs and installed dual linear LNB. Unfortunately my signal strength is at most 23 for both 118.7 and 119. Even if I move my dish verticaly and horizontaly 23 is the most I can get. This doesn't help.
Any idea? Skew?
Please, help.

If you did what you stated: "installed dual Linear LNB" That may very well be your problem. As gibahca stated a few posts back, you need a circular LNB with a freq of 10750 for 118.8 and 119.

Re: 118.8 and 119
Sorry, my mistake...
It is "Ku TWIN LNBF CIRCULAR/LINEAR POLARIZATION" from Digiwave model DGL-1189S.
