universal lnb
will a universal lnb get 123 sat? have a friend that has a 30" dish and a uni lnb i have not used one for so long i cant remember thanks and have a great 4th

post the model # some are listed as universal and they really only get lo cir not linear .. so they are really just good for 118

if its universal linear then yes.....it will get high and low band linear TPs.....some of those LNBs you need to use the 22khz setting to switch between the bands.....

Invacom SNH-031.3 LNBF Review
read this a review .. really i would (in my opnion ) sell it and get a qph031 for 20 bucks more and get cirular added to it .. but thats me
it will work as the guys say ..
i have tried several universal that will get a few tps but thy are crap thats why i said some will not work a good example is the universal digiwav dgl1189s it states it does cir/linear pol at rf 11.70-12.30 and lo 10.75
i have swaped out my qph031 several times on mt dish and it WILL NOT WORK it get some of the tp's but not many and the ones it does get are weak .. so not all universal work well or at all some time ..
the one you have read the review it is good but i hate to say it the more expensive ones like the qph 031 are the best .. hope this helps
