Too HOT! Not the receiver, YOU?
General Chit Chat Area:
If any of you out there in the USA are too hot, then come on to Michigan! We are having another one of those rotten "Summers" so far. Finally warms up for a few days then temps go right in the craper. Got up this morning to a rotten 48 degrees! And I am below 45 degrees North! This is summer!?? High today may be in the low 70's.
Since 2001, I have been taking trips to the Great Southwest. Nice and hot and next to no humitity. Like it out there and may retire there. Big problem about moving is I like the house I have been in for 52 years. (and my dish is there.)
So if you have too much heat where you are: PLEASE SEND IT TO MICHIGAN!

Right now, here in West Central Florida (3 miles from the actual gulf) it is 96 degrees, with a heat index (the humidity factored in-the "feels like temp") it is 104...
so I tell ya what... wanna trade? =^.^= MEOW!!

Man thats a Canadian Heat Wave.
Here in Mid BC, last week we hit 3C (37F) up to 21C (69F). Won't complain too much, see, we're closer to Mother Nature with her living at the North Pole with Santa and she wants Santa to lose a few pounds so she's warming up the North which means the South is cooling down. Sorry for you Southerners. Get out the Sweaters...or WalMart usually has a huge sale on them around this time of year...

Ah, Florida. I have been there once. June 2002, just as a drought broke. Out of 14 days it rained at least 12 hours each day except for four of them. I never saw so much constant rain. I had a street vendor sew words on a baseball cap. Black cap and gold letters: "Florida the rain state." Got a ton of good comments on that one. Out West the heat is nice cuz it is so dry. When you mix the hum-a-diddy with all that Florida heat, it is bad. At least you don't have to shovel 8 feet of snow in the Winter!

Pool's open, ROFLMAO, But the son hasn't even put the ladder in the pool yet on the deck... We have had NO summer yet and it July.... So much for global warming,,,,LOL
