I am trying to figure out the IP address to IKS servers of Kbox, Nfusion, and Sonicview, so i can write a script that pings the three servers and monitors there uptime. So we know if the server are up or down in real time. I have a spare server and this would be a great use for it.

Why don't you just ping it from your cmd prompt? I don't know if they would appreciate you pinging their servers continually with a script. They can tell when you're doing that you know....

I bet my life those guys are behind a proxy shield, with at least 200k stb on the streets they will not expose their selves using a simple server, by the way is the server is reachable by an icmp data package as ping, doesn't mean the IKS service is up.

I just tried to ping both Sonicview IKS servers and they didn't respond. They're probably running in stealth mode with ping turned off. Ping is the oldest trick in the book to aid a hacker in gaining access.....

Pinging them once a minute won't hurt them at all.

Don't over estimate them. I doubt they could afford a server farm. Plus it would be too dangerous to have a large sum of servers. These guys are quick and light. They rent a few servers. When Charlie shuts them down. They switch servers and continue like nothing happened. I doubt they own there own equipment. I work at a major ISP. I deal with spammers all day and they are very similar.

That is a smart move on their part. It just makes things a bit more challenging.

I got great news. I have figured out how to talk to the Sonicview Ihub servers. Can someone give me the IP address to Kbox and Nfusion IKS servers?
