what's going on with the coolsats 5000s are they discontinue or what?

The future doesn't look to bright for coolsat right now...you might want to look into a sv with the ihub or a kbox with khub or maybe an nfusion

they are discontinued and the support for it has been lacking for months.

Prior to Nag 3, coolsat was lagging behind all others with support, especially for the older 4,5, and 6000 models. Don't know who is even working the Coolsat issues now. Maybe if/when Nag3 is ever broke, something will surface...
