Ok here's the deal, I want all my channels back just like everyone elese. I own a viewsat lite and a captive works pvr800. Should i wait and see if a fixs comes out, or do i buy an iks? If i buy an iks will it work, if it works now is there a chance that soon it will not, will it get all the channels, and whitch one do i need to buy.

there is no 100% fix right now.
better to buy a motor for your dish than spend money on another receiver

I have a SV 8000 and a ihub and see some channels except HD. I am not very happy with it-lots of freezing. It's better than nothing, but when the fix comes, I will get rid of ihub. For now, it's no other option available so it's better some channels than nothing.

What is ihub is that the same as iks, and what do these things do different from normal fta boxs

Ihub is like a dongle that connects to the back of sv360Premier,Eliite & 8000HD from your router that is constantly hooked up with your internet.

The best thing to do right now is to wait and see how things go over the next couple of weeks before spending money on something else that might be good or great now but be gone anytime. Just sit back and see what happens first. Just my opinion....

Yes, the best bet is to wait and see what happens within the next month or so.

If all goes well then you can use your old receivers as they are, if not, if the NFusion or the Sonicview systems get fixed properly without any Freezing then you may pick up one of those receivers.

But, for the moment, maybe you can invest in a motor and fix your dish to it and setup with a Linear LNB and pick up some TRUE Fta satellites like 123w and 97W etc. and watch some TV until new software is available for N3.

No contract required at all!!
